Chistorra sausage cooked in cider - chorizo, especially mini chorizos, may be substituted for the chistorra in this simple, but tasty dish. It should really be made with Spanish cider from Asturias, but any dry cider will be fine.

 150 g Chistorra Sausagecut into approx. 4cm lengths
 250ml Cider
 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Add the oil to a hot frying pan and cook the chistorra, turning occasionally until beginning to brown.

Lower the heat and add the cider to the pan. Cook for about five minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve with some fresh bread to mop up the sauce.
