Celler de Capçanes was established in 1933 and is situated in D.O. Montsant in Catalonia.

Made from 100% garnacha, it is part of a series including slate, limestone and sand, denoting the type of terroir in which they are grown. It is aged for six months before bottling.

Complex with an intense cherry colour, it has a good mouthfeel with soft and ripe tannins.

It is suggested to be paired with grilled meats, lamb, casseroles and stews.
